At the SVABO Installation & Awards Dinner this past weekend, BPR’s Denise Reese was sworn in as Treasurer of the Sacramento Valley Association of Building Officials for the 2026 term. Denise was also recognized for her Outstanding Contributions to the organization.
Additionally, BPR’s Bill Rodgers was honored at the event for his impact as an Industry Leader.
We are incredibly proud to have such dedicated and accomplished professionals on our team. Their commitment to excellence and meaningful contributions to the Building Safety community do not go unnoticed. Congratulations Denise and Bill, and thank you for all that you do!

The course covered the code provisions outlined in Chapter 16 , which establish the loading criteria for building and structure design

The course covered the code provisions outlined in Chapter 16 , which establish the loading criteria for building and structure design. It included an in-depth examination of the analytical framework required for determining loads as specified in Chapter 16.
